Dr. David Chen grew up in Winnipeg and graduated from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry in 2011 with a degree in dental medicine. Since graduating, Dr. Chen has devoted the majority of his time in providing dental care to rural communities such as Swan River, Morden, and this has ultimately led him to the city of Portage la Prairie.
Dr. Chen enjoys all aspects of general practice dentistry. He is committed to providing quality dental care to his patients. In an ongoing effort to deliver quality care and to help expand his scope of practice, he partakes in many continuing-education courses to familiarize himself with the latest advancements in dentistry.
In his spare time, Dr Chen enjoys travelling, hiking, and spending time with his friends and family. He is also an avid sports fan and can usually be seen passionately cheering for his hometown Winnipeg Jets.
